Cloning properties

Overview

Cloning a property within a structured data management system allows users to duplicate existing schema properties efficiently. This feature is particularly useful when similar properties need to be applied across multiple schema types or when setting up new schemas that share common attributes.

Step-by-Step Process

To add a clone, click on the 3 dots by the property and click on ‘Add Clone’.

To tag the next Q&A, the property has been duplicated on the Schema Editor.

Glossary of Terms

  • Schema Property: An attribute that defines a specific aspect of a schema type, such as 'name', 'description', or 'price'.
  • Cloning: The process of duplicating an existing property to reuse its configuration in another context.
  • Schema Editor: A tool within a structured data management platform that allows users to create and modify schema types and properties.
